Background on Uses of Intuition

For those who have a highly developed sense of intuition, they may use it in a variety of ways. There are different names these individuals go by, they are called Sensitives, Psychics, Intuitives, Mediums, Clarisentients, and Empaths, Spiritualists, Parapsychologists and Healers. These names are given to those who use this natural and developed ability for purposes of helping others achieve a higher sense of self.
Now for all the skeptics out there, I know what your thinking, "The only way to reach this level of self discovery is through faith in what ever higher power or religious belief you have, right?"  Well yes and no. Would you believe that there are people of all kinds of faiths who utilize this skill everyday. These are people who have a firm belief in God and Jesus Christ, in some cases, yet they have acknowledged this gift and have chosen to use it to help individuals in combination with the teachings of faith to implement healing in certain areas of the body.
I have personally received assistance from such an individual. She was a licensed spiritualist and healer and an avid believer in God. She incorporated the knowledge of her skill and her relationship with God, to deliver a well rounded healing regimen specific to my needs.Just with all practitioners, she is capable of modifying her techniques as progression in healing takes place.
There are also true psychics out there. That's not to say there isn't the occasional one who is not reputable, but there are legitimate people who can give someone an accurate reading about their past,  present and future. Psychics are sometimes referred to as Mediums. These are individuals skilled in reading spirit and can communicate with those in spirit. What I mean by that is "they see and communicate with dead people." While it might sound crazy and foolish, it is legitimate.
There are different types of Mediums and Psychics. Clairivoyants, Clariaudients and Clarisentients. Clarivoyants are those who see mental images in their minds and are often accompanied by vivid dreams of a specific event before it happens. My oldest daughter is a Clarivoyant. I actually get worried if she tells me her dreams, as they are very detailed, especially if she has nightmares or bad dreams. When she has vivid dreams like this I know to look out for some sort of change in our lives that is about to take place. Clariaudients use hearing in the same way as a Clarivoyant, while Clarisentients use feeling as a means of the same communication.
This last topic is about Empaths. As an Empath I have done quite a bit of research and have found that we are said to be undeveloped Clarisentients. Empaths have the ability to feel the emotions of those around them and even those in spirit. The difference in a Clarisentient and an Empath is the ability to have a targeted control of the emotions they feel from others. Clarisentients can use their ability of feeling and have enough control over the information they receive and then use that information in a precise manner. Others will say an Empath and a Clarisentient are one in the same.
Most of what people who use this form of intuitive communication experience is the actual energy of a person's emotions. If we are in a crowd of people, we have a hard time in dealing with the energy emitted by others and often can get overwhelmed. The scientific community often uses terms such as Bipolar to describe the Empath, but that is because the Empath is sometimes ill equipped at handling the sensory overload. They often pick up on negative energy very well and too much negativity without a means of effective coping skills, often has an Empath using those same energy signatures as a means of coping with the level of energy coming at them. So in turn Empaths can exhibit characteristics similar to a mood disorder.
There you have it, a detailed description of my unlicensed knowledge about the information presented to use in this blog. Of course I am no expert, but I have taught myself, through research on this topic. I just wanted to give you, my readers a bit of information to hopefully dis-spell some myths and rumors about individuals who use intuitive forms of communication. I just chalk it up to a skill much like someone who is talented at playing sports or playing an instrument. It is no different. Thanks for reading. www.thirdeyeintuition.com

Intuition?

Merriam Webster's definition of intuition is ; An immediate apprehension or cognition without reasoning or inferring; A knowledge or conviction gained by intuition; The power of direct knowledge or cognition without evident rational thought or inference. In a nutshell intuition is just a way of knowing the outcome of a particular situation based on a feeling or a hunch. Everyone has an intuitive side, but not everyone uses it. For those who do not use it on a daily basis or are not in tune with this side of themselves, they just pass it off as some rare occurrence and nothing more. For those of us who are in tune with this, we are the ones standing in line at the bank and while we are standing there we just get these bad vibes that something isn't right. Now, if we were smart, we would take this opportunity to quietly leave and come back another day, but in case we are one of the ones who doesn't trust this side of ourselves or just chalk it up as being tired or just paranoid, then the following could be a possibility. I said could be, not necessarily will be. As soon as those feelings go through us or the thought goes through our minds we hear, "This is a hold up, everyone down on the floor and no body gets hurt!" Now I understand that this example is a bit rash, but indulge me a minute. We could have listened to the feeling we had about something not being right and left, but since we chose not to, we have found ourselves in a situation that unless some higher intervention happens and everybody cooperates, we may stand a good chance on being on the local evening news broadcast telling our story. Of course what I am talking about goes a little deeper than just the hunch of a impending negative event, but it's called taking the feelings you have and then making observations within your environment, which will help us figure out where these feelings are coming from. You then take that information and find the most appropriate form of action to take. Some observations are more obvious than others, as in the example, if your standing in line at the bank and there are three men in long black trench coats  and they are systematically placed. Say they are wearing what appears to be black ski masks in a  rolled up fashion on their heads under a hat of some sort and it just happens to be in the middle of August, then there should be a reasonable suspicion something isn't right. Then again you could always take the chance that they like wearing this attire and it's completely normal for them and then in that case, ignore the stereotype.

"The Intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift".
